I mainly rushed through it because I remembered when it first came out and I watched like over half of it already and dropped it the way I dropped one piece. it was then I realized half of the reason I hated one piece was TOEI's way of making nothing happen in an episode. There are still a lot of good moments in S1 that I liked so glad I was able to get through it to catch up. it was worth

One Piece is insane, 150+ episodes and I barely felt anything had happened. Should've dropped it after the second arc.

hana is literally a better person and better thinking than Yoko. like...if anything she was a perfect set up for some redemption character. make her seem cold and unlikeable but then hear her thought and realize she's pretty cool. honestly she needs to snap at Yoko and correct her. the lack of saying anything is useless since she could have a more positive impact on Yoko.

That just shows that both teams weren't very balanced -not weak though !- (one purely disfunctional, with the leader not being able to do good strategy since he relies on his ace but she doesn't listen to anyone, the other being too defensive)

and we know the defensive one is going to go places once their leader learns how to unlearn his cautiousness. there's a hint of progress I feel from this battle and if he takes it and run, they can make big strides.

hunny, it's all her fault. the moment she realized she was losing it's up to her to humble herself and realize she needs to do better. natural talent is never enough. it's a head start but talent without work or effort goes to waste and others become more useful. she needs to overcome her own issues because it's a literally personal problem. she's lazy, unmotivated if things don't go her way. it's a problem. want to know how I know this? because I was that same person a while back. did super well super easily and when uni hit I started having a hard time adjusting. but know what happened? after pushing through my 1st year, I IDENTIFIED and ACNKOWLEDGED my problem and actually put effort into my work. it's not like I changed overnight but I didn't act like a bitch or blamed others. I noticed I had to polish my skills and was able to gain a new perspective and it's been much better. she will never be good or top. all the top and pros actually put in effort and train and they don't give up. they think and strategise and rely on their team. they don't act arrogant and then prove to be useless or a waste of talent.

Tamakoma-2 has improved a lot. Osamu's new tactics is so fine. Chika is now better than before and Yuma become more unbeatable. Nice team work.
Also like Fumika's (I guess) way of dodging the attach while jumping, she did a great job too defeating Chika.

I really like how they panned the whole story. In first season they planted all the seeds perfectly. They delivered the premise at a reasonable pace, without having to compromise the suspense. As a viewer/reader you learned to appreciate the main characters along with the mechanics of their world. You slowly find yourself emotionally invested.

In this season, the focus on the action scenes is a welcomed change. While most people would find it lacking due to main characters querks not being shown enough or that there's hardly any jokes being thrown on the side. It is still fun to watch. This gradual - if not sudden - change of approach is very common in Shounen Jump shows.

totally skipped the bitch's backstory because there's nothing important. i learned a lesson from the first time i watched and wasted some precious minutes into her backstory that didn't even justify her rotten personality

LETS GOOO Tamakoma won and four eyes is actually being useful and scoring points took him a whole 70 something episodes but I am happy he improved now only Chika has to work on shooting people and dare I say it the team will be invincible. It really is ironic Chika probally has the most trion amount out of EVERYBODY in border hence making all her attacks even the basic ones extremely powerful than the other members but she can't make use of that power because of the way she is designed it really is a shame

Blaming the result of your bad parenting to others by preventing your kids to make friends is like robbing them off of their childhood. It's not like those two kids were doing something illegal. They were just hanging out. There's even an adult looking after them. The other parents could've just rescheduled and minimized their playtime and added study sessions in between instead of totally stopping their child from hanging out with other kid. So cruel. I hate selfish parents who do that to their kids. And then later the invasion happened, and from that point on both girls' childhood stopped. YOLO

Anyway, it's nice to see improvements and a lot of room for more improvements on this team. Maybe this time they could prove Hyuse that their team is worth joining now

obviously the seasons are short after season 1. and much better paced. people don't want to waste these short seasons with characters they don't even like and the fact that the backstory didn't do anything to make the character likeable is just a waste and sad.

I'd say it's groundwork. I kinda like her slow growth rate in the manga after this, as well as how she handled their final match (not yet animated sadly). Unlike other shonen's I see, it's neat to see one where side characters have more importance later on (Sad Tenten noises).

well that's cool to know. See I get she has potential to be a good redeemable character, but it's fun to express my disdain for her in the moment when she truly is being a bitch. I think so far my frustration comes from the people around her not saying crap. like...her issue is something I relate to. and that's why it's important for someone to be able to keep you grounded, but also provide proper encouragement when needed. motivation and not being able to see your improvement if not instant is a biggggg hurdle.

yes! but don't worry, I don't have issues changing my mind with characters and time progresses. It's great to vent frustrations. I'm just happy to hear you tell me she gets better. She gives me the same vibe as Kitora but I already knew Kitora was just prideful. while Kitora annoys me as well, I also very much appreciate her character. and over time I appreciated her more, especially when Tokieda gave us more insight about her.

This episode makes it look like a character development for mikumi (which it is dont get me wrong) but every single enemy was jus weak af :/ …. Everyone but the bossy girl, but even she was weak. But maybe Osamu’s team has gotten stronger in general so that we can view it that way…To me everyone was giving background character strength to boost morale of main character vibes…
